Our philosophy is to walk away from a fight whenever possible. If forced into a confrontation, a student has the option of defending themselves one of three ways; the hard style of block, punch and kick, the middle style of intercepting the attack and placing the opponent in a wristlock or submission hold, or the soft style of avoiding the confrontation either verbally or physically.
As a traditional dojo (school), The Nokado School of Self Defense follows all of the traditional practices of formal Japanese Jiu Jitsu schools. Respect at the Nokado School of Self Defense is earned, not given. We invite you or your child to enjoy TWO FREE WEEKS of classes by clicking the button below, so you can experience the benefits of training at Nokado first-hand.
